Tips for pot plants
Tip 1:
A colourful display for garden, balcony and patio
Container plants are getting more and more popular. Since containers can be moved around easily, their use allows exotic plants which are not frost hardy to be used as well for the adornment of your garden, balcony and patios.
Container plants are planted or repotted into large ceramic pots, wooden or stone tubs from April/May onwards. Important: The container should be about2 inches (5 cm) wider thatn the current root ball of the plant. And, container plants have their own special demands for the soil used.
Floragard Kübelpflanzenerde (FG tub soil) with natural lava stones is a soil with a very stable structure which makes sure that even after 2 or 3 years the plant roots will get sufficient air - because that is how long it may take sometimes till the plant is repotted. The lava also gives the soil sufficient weight so that the plant will not be blown over on a windy day.
