The right care

Fertilising:
Floragard Kübelpflanzenerde (FG tub soil) contains all major and minor nutrients which the plant will need during the first 6 weeks. Thereafter, you should feed regularly with Kübelpflanzen-Dünger (tub plant fertiliser). Box has particular feeding needs which are best met by using Buchsbaum-Dünger (boxwood fertiliser).

A perfect allround solution:
If you want to get away from the hassle of fertilising altogether, just use Floragard Aktiv-Pflanzenerde (FG active plant soil) for your container plants. This premium soil contains a top-quality long-term fertiliser already - feeding the plants for 6 months without any top-up fertilising.

Watering:
As with all plants, the bottom line is - the water should be as soft as possible. Tap water should be descaled or mixed with rainwater. Plants which get rain directly should not have their pots put on dishes so that they will not stand in water.
