Summer is synonymous with some beautiful, sunny and very clear days, perfect for a photoshooting! So, we didn't waste a minute on July 11, to take some amazing photos of our products.

Unlike in the past years, we didn't do this photoshoot in den Park der Gärten in Bad Zwischenahn, this year the garden of our photographer Ulf Duda's house (Instagram: @fotoduda) was the chosen place to bring out many of the products.

I can tell you that it was a record day! Since in one day of approximately 9-10 hours all the photos we needed were taken, unlike last year where the day was divided into 3 days of photos. I will tell you that a photoshooting is not as simple as it sounds. It can be very tiring, and even more so when the sun is at its brightest. It is a project that takes a lot of work, from organizing the whole schedule and moving the elements that will be needed, to transforming and arranging each of the spaces for the different products.

This year I was the model, so I will tell you a little bit about my experience. The day started at 8 a.m., we were all ready at our photographer's house. The first thing was to organize the spots for each product. My colleague Christian and Thomas were the ones in charge of moving the soil, spreading them and lifting the plants that were a bit heavy. Birte has an incredible taste for making things look nice, so she always gave great ideas on how to arrange all the elements. Of course, all the other colleagues also came up with a lot of ideas.

Usually for most of the photos they needed my hands to show the product, its texture and consistency. In some other photos I had to appear complete, for example, planting or organizing some pots and plants.

One of the most eye-catching elements for these photos were the flowers and plants from Gerd Cordes of Blumen Cordes nursery in Oldenburg - we had so many of them! So, we could choose which colors went best with each product packaging. Thanks Gerd! Finally, I can say that it was quite an enjoyable experience, to see how everyone contributed their bit and really amazing results were achieved. Now we just have to wait for the photos to be ready and you can see the great work that was done.
